Our Tech

We use a variety of technologies across our engineering teams so you'll be exposed to languages and frameworks such as: Javascript, Typescript, HTML/CSS, Java, Swift, Kotlin, React, React Native & Node.JS - giving you an opportunity to develop your technical skill set throughout the programme and beyond.


The Role

Our 12 month graduate programme is part of xDesign Campus, giving people the opportunity to gain meaningful experience, grow their skills and accelerate their career path. As an integral part of the xDesign team from day one, our graduates will learn the ins and outs of digital practices, giving them everything they need to kick start their careers in tech.


What you'll be doing:


  • You'll complete four 3-month rotations across different areas within engineering such as front end, mobile and back end development on both internal and external projects that gives you a real opportunity to make an impact
  • Bi-monthly development sessions and quarterly face to face meet ups
  • You'll receive a range of support through our emerging talent network, mentors, buddies and line manager.
  • This is a permanent role and we will work with you individually to shape a career pathway prior to the programme finishing to ensure your journey with us continues to grow.

Requirements

  • A good technical foundation and a willingness to develop your technical and professional skills
  • A great team player with strong communication skills
  • Passion and enthusiasm for creating great digital products
  • Curiosity for learning technologies that goes beyond your academic studies/previous experience
  • Creative and innovative mindset
  • A real interest in software engineering and end to end design and delivery

Recruitment Process:

  • Complete a coding test on Qualified
  • Initial interview with a member of our Emerging Talent team
  • Final stage is a Discovery Day which consists of a group exercise, technical and culture add interview

Our Discovery Days will be held throughout November in person at our Edinburgh office.

This position is available for UK based remote working as well as office or hybrid working for those based around Edinburgh or Leeds. The salary for this position is £36,750 per annum.
